It was a huge success and the space is flexible enough to host parties from 20 people up to 300. In each side of the cattle court you can seat up to 140 and next door, by the soon-to-open café, are proper loos and a commercial kitchen.
Ed and Natasha spent a long time looking at other venues, but didn't like the huge number of restrictions that they were faced with. They wanted to make their day different and that philosophy is one that remains at the Rhynd. Want to hang Christmas trees all over the ceiling? That's fine. How about covering the walls in fairy lights? That's fine too. As long as there's no lasting damage we'll listen to all your ideas. Every wedding is different!
We don't charge corkage. Nothing is more annoying than having to pay to open wine you've already bought.
You can choose whichever suppliers you like. Why would you want to be restricted to a list of two catering companies? We do have a list of recommendations to help you get started, though.
As we said above the venue is a blank canvas ready to be made into what you want. We've kept as much of it as original as possible so you don't need to do anything if you don't want!
The Rhynd is two minutes from Leuchars, 15 minutes from St Andrews and 15 minutes from Dundee and is located in the middle of the Fife countryside.

The venue at the Rhynd can be used for events both big and small, from conferences, seminars and meetings to birthdays, trade shows, team-building events and product launches via award ceremonies and dances.
While the whole venue covers more than 400m², you can use only parts of it which can be cornered off. Whether you're 20 people or 300, we can make the space work for you.
With fast wifi and easy access to Dundee and St Andrews, the Rhynd makes for a perfect base for a conference. In Spring 2017 the café next door will be open and we can supply hot and cold food as well as proper coffee and delicious tea.
What's more we own and run a clay pigeon shooting ground only 200 metres away which can be included as part of a package.
